Taking into account the rampaging coronavirus pandemic across the world, Ventures Platform is inviting all hackers, developers, enthusiasts or founders with an app for reporting, curing or tracing the #COVID19 pandemic, or anything else that can help in curbing its spread and preventing future outbreaks to apply for the #COVID19InnovationChallenge .
According to Ventures Platform, 5 selected projects will gain access to grants, workspace, mentorship, collaboration, and legal services. The first batch of applications was initially meant to close on Wednesday 25th March 2020 at 12:00pm WAT.
However, due to the rapid spread of the #Coronavirus pandemic in Africa, Ventures Platform has moved up the initial application closing date for the #COVID19InnovationChallenge to Saturday 21st March, 11:59 pm WAT.
