Crowdyvest, a firm recently introduced by Farmcrowdy to connect individuals to multiple sponsorship opportunities that are safe, trusted and secure, has launched PlentyWaka, a bus hailing service in Lagos, Nigeria.

The founder of Crowdyvest, Onyeka Akumah, said at the unveiling of PlentyWaka: “Crowdyvest was launched to foster a broader avenue for economic growth and build a system that will span across Nigeria and the rest of Africa. With the launch of PlentyWaka, we are focusing on innovation and better infrastructure in transportation for everyday Lagosians.”

He added that PlentyWaka will be managed independently by Johnny Enagwolor as its Managing Director.

Enagwolor said: “PlentyWaka is the next step for the future of the transport system in Lagos. Having access to safe, convenient and accessible transportation options is crucial to reducing bad driving, related crashes, and possible eventualities.”

CrowdyVest CrowdyVestAvailable on the Play Store and Apple store, Plentywaka is a premium bus sharing solution designed to allow users to schedule their rides from their preferred pick-up locations to their desired destination.

By allowing users to reserve a seat, it saves on the time people waste in bus stops waiting for buses. The first set of 10,000 riders will be able to try the service for free with their first 2 trips on the Ajah-CMS/CMS — Ajah route.

It will not be a jolly-smooth bus-hailing ride for PlentyWaka as it has the likes of OBus, Gona, and UberBus among others.

The advantage PlentyWaka has is that the bus-hailing business is still growing in Lagos. It has the opportunity to dominate the business with its tech-driven solution.
