In another recognition of its efforts in digital content distribution, Publiseer has been invited to join the Massachusetts Institute of Technology for its Solve Global Challenge.

As the name implies, MIT Solve tries to connect startups with venture capitalists, technology, investors, and mentors to tackle global problems. Startups whose solutions address issues such as Economic Prosperity, Health, Learning, and Sustainability stand a better chance of being selected.

In 2017, nearly 1,000 individuals and startups from 103 countries applied for Solve’s four challenges. They include ‘Work of the Future’, ‘Frontlines of Health’, ‘Coastal Communities’, and ‘teachers * Educators’.

Publiseer is digital publishing platform in Nigeria, which helps content producers to distribute and monetize their creative works across over 400 digital stores in 100 countries. It has distributed and monetized over 600 creative works.

This has been a good year for Publiseer. It recently declared a profit of 3 million in profit in the first quarter of 2018. It was selected among the startups to compete at the Startup Istanbul Challenge 2018 in Turkey on 19 – 22 October.  Additionally, it was awarded the ‘Most Needed in the Region’ award at the 2018 African Entrepreneurship Award powered by BMCE Bank of Africa, a large commercial bank in Morocco, which operates over 697 branches in Morocco and 560 branches in Africa.
