The Audio Girl Africa Creative Accelerator is a 1-month program designed to identify, support and fund the next generation of Africa’s promising female creatives.

Participants in the program receive mentorship, internship, N2million worth of sponsorship and funding grants from Audio Girl Africa.

This year, the program is done in Partnership with FemmeAfrica and is open to female creatives based anywhere in Africa.

Who is eligible to apply?

Based in Africa (Nigeria, Kenya, SouthAfrica, Ghana) Must be female with interest in audio and media technology. Age 13-25 Must be a perspective to early budder (0 – less than 2 years in practice).

How are the participants/accelerants selected?

Our review committee will be evaluating applications against several factors: Proof of Interest; Clear vision, what the candidate is hoping to do with the knowledge acquired. Well-defined project; Pathway to creating something concrete based on what has been learnt and Candidates should be able to collaborate in teams and also carry out individual projects.

What prizes are to be won?

Career funding worth N2million to top 5 accelerants. Home Recording Gadgets and giveaways. Mentorship paid internships and job opportunities.

What does the Accelerator Program Entail?

Intensive Training: 1 month of hands-on training, support and mentoring on creative media, audio technology, and music business.

Exclusive Access to online and offline learning resources and mentorship from some of Africa’s leading creative personality.

Audio Girl Africa is a non-profit organization with the sole aim of increasing the level of diversity and inclusion in the Audio tech Industry across Africa. We provide inspiration and career/job opportunities for young women. Our initiatives are focused on women in the industry while we develop the next generation.
