As from 2022, Nollywood movies would be available to watch on Amazon Prime Video thanks to the multi-year deal the streaming giant has signed with Nigeria production company Inkblot Studios.

The agreement which is the first licensing deal Amazon Prime Video has signed with an African production company, will see it take exclusive, worldwide rights for Inkblot’s productions, post their theatrical runs.

Some of the titles that have already confirmed include The Set Up 2, Moms at War 2, and New Money 3 as well as new titles such as Charge and Bail, Superstar and The Blood Covenant.

Founded by Chinaza Onuzo, Zulumoke Oyibo and Damola Ademola in 2011, Inkblot has produced some of the biggest, highest grossing and best-performing movies in Nigeria. So far, Inkblot has released 16 films theatrically including The Wedding Party and The Wedding Party 2.
