WorldRemit has signed popular Nigerian artist, Patrick Nnaemeka Okorie aka Patoranking as an ambassador for its Africa-focused Entrepreneurs Program.
The WorldRemit Entrepreneurs Program will run simultaneously in Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, and Zimbabwe, from November 2020 through January 2021.
With the WorldRemit Entrepreneurs Program, you can nominate a loved one living in Ghana, Nigeria, Kenya, or Zimbabwe to be part of 200 winning entrepreneurs who will receive a business booster pack which will help the program participants to develop the required skills to scale and run their businesses successfully.
In his role as a brand ambassador, Patoranking will help to build awareness for the program and highlight how WorldRemit creates opportunities for Africans in entrepreneurship.
The singer will also promote the partnership with WorldRemit and encourage people to enter the competition which will help to build entrepreneurship across Africa.
This program, which is part of WorldRemit’s renewed commitment to creating opportunities and facilitating development in Africa, will empower 50 aspiring and budding entrepreneurs, each from Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, and Zimbabwe with musical star Patoranking as a celebrity ambassador.
The digital business course designed in partnership with The Nest, a pan-African tech incubation hub reaching entrepreneurs from all sectors, domains, and industries across the continent.
