Damini Ogulu aka Burna Boy has topped the 2019 list of Apple Music most-streamed songs in Africa.
According to Apple Music, Burna Boy had five songs leaving the other five spots to other artists including Davido, Wizkid, Joeboy and Rema.
Burna Boy’s songs ‘On the low’ (1), ‘Gbona’ (5), ‘Dangote’ (6) and ‘Anybody’ (3) occupied top five alongside his collaboration with Zlatan ‘Killin Dem’ (3).
The other spots are Joeboy “Baby” (4), Davido & Chris Brown “Blow My Mind” (7) Rema “Dumebi” (8) Beyonce,SAINt JHN,Wizkid & Blue Ivy Carter “BROWN SKIN GIRL” (9) and Kizz Daniel & Davido “One Ticket” (10).
Burna Boy is a 28-year-old Nigeria afro-fusion artist that was recently nominated for Grammy Award for Best World Music Album 2020 (African Giant) alongside GECE: Altin Gün, WHAT HEAT by Bokanté & Metropole Orkest Conducted By Jules Buckley, FANM D’AYITI by Nathalie Joachim With Spektral Quartet and CELIA by Angelique Kidjo.
