EZ Farming, a Nigerian agrictech startup has been selected for the 25th batch of the 500 Startups Accelerator program which will be held in San Francisco.

EZ Farming is a modern agrictech investment company connecting investors and commercial farmers with ease. The agrictech startup links investors around the world with local African farmers to provide a platform for everyone to invest and earn great returns from commercial farming.

EZ Farming also works with the next generation of farmers equipping them to access resources and utilize industry expertise to scale their operations and ensure a seamless transition in the agricultural workforce.

EZ Farming will be joined by 34 other startups from around the world for the four-month accelerator and seed program.

A host of African startups have been accepted onto the 500 Startups program in the last few years, including Egyptian startups Shezlong and Harmonica in batch 23, three from Nigeria in batch 22 (Fyodor Biotechnologies,  MailHaven and Mobile Forms) and Nigeria’s agrictech startup, ThriveAgric was  the only one from the continent to make the accelerator for the batch 24.

The 500 Startups is an accelerator program for early-stage companies that invests $150,000 in participating companies in exchange for 6% equity.
