Pricewaterhouse Coopers (PwC) as part of efforts to support enterprise development and technological advancement in Nigeria has launched the PwC Innovation Experience Centre in Victoria Island, Lagos.

In his remarks, the Regional Senior Partner, PwC West Africa Mr Uyi Akpata described the hub as the first of its kind by professional services firm in the sub-region.

Akpata told stakeholders that the centre combines research, creativity, existing knowledge and strategic insight with a new structured way of solving problems.

He also stated the innovation centre was part of the broader plan to transform how PwC engages with clients, people and community; by driving it’s thinking around disruption and emerging technologies.

Partner and Experience Centre Leader for PwC Nigeria Mr Femi Osinubi explained that the Innovation Hub would draw out the value within the market, in areas that can combine Business, Technology and Experience underpinned by deep customer insights.

PwC now adds to the growing number of innovation hubs that are located in Lagos,  Africa’s emerging technology capital.

The launch of the PwC Innovation Experience Centre was witnessed by the Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwoolu, who recently inaugurated the Eko Innovation Centre, foremost bank, Jim Ovia, representative of the Vice president and Director General, Budget, Mr Ben Akabueze and Group Managing Director, First Bank of Nigeria Holdings, Mr. Urum Eke.
