Injini has announced the eight startups that will participate in the cohort 3 of the Injini EdTech Accelerator. The Eight edtech startups are from South Africa, Nigeria, Zambia, Kenya and Tanzania. Cohort 3 will be launch on the 5th of June in Cape Town, South Africa.

The startups will now take part in the four-month programme, which provides participating businesses with funding and dedicated support from industry experts and skilled business mentors.

As a reward for participating, the selected startups will be eligible for up to $7,500 grant after which they will compete for a follow-on equity investment of up to $75,000 investment.

Additionally, all flight and accommodation expenses will be covered to and from Cape Town and also receive a small allowance for extra living costs incurred while in Cape Town.

It may interest you to know that phase one of the accelerator has already begun in Cape Town and will last until early July and they will return to Cape Town for the final phase in September.

The mission of the Injini EdTech Accelerator is to create EdTech specialist incubator programmes across Africa that ensure anyone with an idea that could raise education standards at scale, wherever, and whoever they are, has access to early-stage investment and support.
