Trep Labs, a healthtech startup focused on developing technology to address health-related problems, has emerged winner of the first edition of the Heritage Bank Accelerator Program.

The startup was received N10,000,000 for its RealDrip Solution which is a monitoring device that helps monitor drip fluid transmission during patients care. This Made in Nigeria device also provides status updates to caregivers (Nurses & Doctors) via SMS and a Mobile App.

Trep Labs which was founded in 2018 by Taofeek Olalekan and Alayande Abdulwaheed; pitched its innovative solution alongside Team Ladipo Market, Team Wedding Paddy, Team Simbibot, Team Fashion Map,  Team Iden2five and Team Bbox.

The accelerator program started on March 11 with participating startups taken through series of training. They also had the opportunity to interact with business leaders and founders within in the tech ecosystem who shared the experiences and evolutions of their respective businesses with the aim to inspire and impart business knowledge in the young minds looking to start out their own tech-enabled businesses.

Team Ladipo Market was named 1st runners up taking home N5,000,000. Interestingly, the other contestants won’t go home empty as they will receive (plus the winners Trep Labs & Team Ladipo) $10,000 each from fintech startup, Flutterwave to help grow their innovation.

These are really good times for Trep Labs. It was also recently named among the winners at the Cisco Global Problem Solver Challenge receiving $10,000.
