The E4Impact Accelerator, which was recently launched in Kenya by Italian Agency for Development Co-operation, is inviting applications from Kenyan entrepreneurs and founders for its E4Impact Accelerator Program.

The E4Impact Accelerator will work with Kenyan businesses, so as to support their growth, increase their revenues, guide them toward profitability and give them partnership access to Italian businesses.

The E4Impact Foundation has launched the E4I Accelerator with 3 main objectives:

1. Give access to funding through seed grants up to 1.5 M per enterprise
2. Provide international and local mentorship and coaching
3. Incubation space

Benefits for Accelerated Companies
1. Access to a pool of funds to the accelerated companies in the form of seed grants
2. Connection and mentorship with Italian Businesses.
3. Access to satellite technologies from Openet Technologies.
4. Access to office space for 12 months
5. 1 year customized training program
6. International and local coaching and mentorship
7. Access to professional services (legal, accounting, marketing, etc.)

Who can Apply

Applicants will be expected to meet the following criteria:
1. Post-revenue (startup or scaleup) with an existing customer base
2. Have a team of co-founders or a minimum of two employees in the company
3. Clear social or environmental impact

The accelerator accepts applications from innovative enterprises that are aligned with Kenya’s Big Four agenda and Italian excellencies i.e.

  • Agri-food
  • Fashion and design
  • Leather
  • Machinery and equipment
  • Construction and affordable housing
  • Healthcare
  • Green businesses and renewable energy
  • ICT Innovations that could benefit from satellite technologies
