Termii has expanded to Ivory Coast in less than 2 months after raising $1.4 Million in seed funds. 50% of the round was co-led by Kepple Africa Ventures and Future Africa while other participants include Aidi Ventures, Remapped Ventures, Nama Ventures, RallyCap Ventures, Assembly Investors, Acuity Ventures, and Kairos Angels.

The Y Combinator-backed firm helps African businesses communicate with customers across SMS, email, voice, and instant messaging channels. The company was founded by Atinuke Idowu, Ayomide Awe, and Emmanuel Gbolade in 2014.

Announcing the expansion, to Ivory Coast, Termii said: “Today, we’re incredibly thrilled to announce another addition to our string of operational routes across Africa.

“We’re constantly improving our messaging solution to help businesses conveniently reach and engage their customers across Africa, and we’re super excited to announce our fully operational route in Ivory Coast.”
