WAEC Expo for mathematics has reportedly been circulating on social media.
Expo is a term or slang used to describe leaked examination papers in Nigeria or a paper that contains answers to potential exam questions a student takes into the exam hall with the aim of using it.
Olusegun Iselaiye with the Twitter handle @iotama posted the leaked mathematics questions or expo over the weekend saying: “WAEC maths paper scheduled for today has leaked since weekend according to sources. See the paper here. What kind of a country is this for God’s sake??? I hope the people responsible will be investigated and punished as appropriate.”
But WAEC has come out to say that the leaked questions for mathematics circulating on social media is fake adding that only gullible students will fall prey.
The examination body tweeted: “This is fake. Scammers do this every year. Only gullible candidates fall prey.”
