Nigeria Edtech startup ScholarX has been selected to pitch at Stanford Africa Business Forum (SABF) in Stanford, California on Saturday, April 20th, 2019 (tomorrow).

Joining ScholarX in pitching their startups are ENVision mobile, MobiPay AgroSys (Uganda), and South African startups Pineapple, LÜLA, and Vollar.

The six startups will pitch their startups to a panel of judges that includes HSBC Venture Capital managing director Oreoluwa Adeyemi, LoftyInc Capital Management founding director Marsha Wulff, TLcom founding and managing partner Maurizio Caio, Pact Ventures manager of social investment and alternative finance Katherine Fackler, Boston Consulting Group senior advisor Nyimpini Mabunda and Paga CEO and founder Tayo Oviousu.

The Stanford Africa Business Forum is a collaborative effort between the Stanford Institute for Innovation in Developing Economies (Stanford Seed), the Africa Business Club, Stanford African Students’ Association and Center for African Studies and it aims to inspire relevant ideas for business in Africa.

The 12th Annual Stanford Africa Business Forum has the theme Establishing Africa’s Place in the Future: New Approaches to Driving Growth.
